The Gates 28439 EA Green-Stripe Heater Hose is a heavy-duty EPDMhose designed for demanding truck, bus, and industrial cooling systems. Its abrasion-resistant cover and Green-Stripe design provide optimal cost-per-mile performance while resisting electrochemical degradation (ECD). Rated from –40 °F to +257 °F (–40 °C to +125 °C), and exceeding SAE 20R1 Type EC (Class D-1 tube & cover standard wall) requirements, this hose is supplied in 50-foot stick format with a ½″ inside diameter (105 psi working pressure). For best results, use PowerGrip™ SB clamps to ensure a maintenance-free connection.
